They have started Christi on IV antibiotics and have transfused her with red blood cells. Christi has been admitted to the hospital and will be staying on 8 south. Dr. Maris anticipates that it may be a long hospital stay. Poor child was only out of the hospital for two days......

Below are some pictures from last week.

Poor thing. I pray Dr. Maris is wrong and this won't really be a long stay.

I just ran out to your house to leave Christi's (very very late) birthday gift from St. Joe. It has been sitting here since before her birthday and just now did I have the chance to run it over. We left it with the little boy across the street...I forget his name.

Love, Jennifer

Oh no! Darn it! I was hoping and praying for a broken fever and not a hospital admittance. I hope it's not a long stay and I will be praying for it not to be.

Much love- many prayers,
Heather

DANG! (is that expression okay to use on Christi's site?!) Dearest Christi, hang in there sweetie... we will also pray that dear Dr. Maris' anticipation is incorrect. Just keep visualizing that fever attacking whatever should not be there, and only good things taking over. We're just a phone call away if we can be of help in any way (ANY HOUR!) Give each other a hug for us. I'll be spending a few hours through the night sitting with a patient at the hospital center, so know that while I'm there I will be praying for Christi...for all of you. May tomorrow be filled with miracles!
love, sylvia xoxoxo
