Teen Wonder

This morning I sadly learned that another amazing neuroblastoma fighter returned to God's kingdom. Zach was diagnosed in 1997 and sadly relapsed with this beast four times. He fought this beast incredibly long! "Teen Wonder" as many of us came to know sweet Zach, rebounded so many times I just felt like he could somehow come through this all as well. His Mom moved me to tears a few weeks ago when I found out that Zach was following Christi's journey and he would ask his sweet mother Nikki how Christi was doing as the two of them had many common interests. Vice President of his 8th grade class and a basketball team member, this young gentleman was exactly that - very compassionate, concerned about others and strong in his faith. He stated he was ready to go be with Jesus many times and had suffered incredibly in recent months. Zach's Mother, Nikki, is a sweetheart and also strong in her spirtuality.
