Valedictorian
(Pic: Christi & Hannah, Jan. 2006) We didn't know this until the Saturday night at the Dance Unlimited Recital, but Hannah, the $1,000 Christi Scholarship Winner was also her school's Valedictorian! Out of a class of around 200, we think that is especially impressive! Congrats, Hannah! We will very soon announce the $1,000 2008 Fremont St. Joe Christi Thomas Scholarship Winner!While I'm reflecting upon the dance recital, Shayla received a card from her jazz teacher prior to the performance. It said: Shayla, You have worked so hard, maybe more than any other dancer I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). Your hard work has paid off - you look great. Now have fun, smile and break a leg! I love this picture of Christi lacing up her toe shoes. You have posted the pictures from this special day before and it always brings tears to my eyes. What a beautiful, precious little girl. Thanks for sharing!
