Easter
When we arrived in another city on Saturday night and checked into our hotel, we were upgraded to a suite! Yahoo! It worked out very well with the egg hunt that had to take place in our hotel room on Easter morning. Shayla woke up, came into our room and cuddled with us for a while. She went to the bathroom and we heard her yell, "Is it Easter because there are eggs in here?!" She had a ball and I just kept telling myself that Christi lives on through Shayla.

Oh Shayla, you are too cute! And your hair is so long! I am glad to hear you had a nice Easter and it looks like you had fun on the egg hunt. :o)
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know the holidays are difficult. Christi lives on in Shayla, and all of you.
Hugs,
Olivia

Hi,
I'm a 35 years old french woman and I read your story since months. You all help me, because you're catholics and I am too, and your family is... I don't find the good word.
I'm not sure that Christi lives on through Shayla. Christi lives with God now, so she lives through all you family and she helps me living too, because as you said once : "the world is better nowbecause Christi came and lived with us". I'm sorry my english isn't as good as I'd like.
Shayla is becoming different than Christi, she looks more like her mother. Christi looked more like her father. I think it's hard for you, and specially for Shayla. She has to grow on her own now. But like her mother, she is becoming a wonderful young women and I hope she will be happy.
I miss Christi too, I cannot explain why.
Be careful with catholics in Europe, I saw that you believe in "Medjugorje" and it's very particular. Many of my friends went in Medjugorje and we are sceptics... Here, pentecotists and some catholics people make a lot of mistakes... Praise God for them to understand the right way.
Many people are named "Thomas" here, I live right in the middle of France. Perhaps your grand-grand-fathers were french ?
Thank you for all the "love of God" (can I write this ?) you give to us. And tell Shayla she becomes more and more wonderfull.
I'm glad you all had such a great time--Colonial Williamsburg looks like such a neat place to visit!
Angela~
Shayla just gets more beautiful with every post! She's gorgeous!

Angela, I had to write to let you know that we celbrated our daughters 1st 1/2 birthday today. She is 4 1/2 today. She was so super excited when I told her. We didn't do much. She picked out her own ice cream at the grocery store and we grilled and after supper I sang, "Happy 1/2 Birthday to you." to her. Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to do this and I never would have thought of it. Thank you.
