Ski Trip
We finally made that trip out west and enjoyed a state we had never been to before - UTAH! We loved it for a ski trip so much, even better than Colorado. It was a great long weekend, however, we are ready to go back already!
For whatever reason, we always seem to find a fondue restaurant on each skip trip. This one was no different, yum, yum!
Shayla hits the slopes.
Shayla is ready to ski!
Shayla's first trip to Utah!
This was the view outside our condo window. Occasionally Shayne would call and say, "We are going up the ski lift you can see out your window now if you want to watch us go up. Hopefully, you won't see us ski down that one those because it's a black diamond trail. We will come down elsewhere."
Touring Temple Square - home of the Mormans, in Salt Lake City
Inside of our condo where I got a lot of writing and grading done.
I loved this amazing kitchen in our condo.
Love this gal! I tell her often, "Thank you for making our life complete!"

Oh! Angela. I wish I'd known you were coming to Utah. We've never met in person, but I'm not only a Christi fan, but also an Angela fan! Christi because she was Christi, and you because you are such an amazing teacher. I wish you did more research because I think you could be the next Deborah Ball or Linda Darling-Hammond! You have so much wisdom about teaching practice! But, I would have loved to have just met y'all, and gotten a chance to leave Cache Valley (N of SLC) and have a good excuse to procrastinate on the dissertation. Next time, I hope? Well, if we're ever in the same place.. don't know where life will take me after I finish this thing.
Anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed our powder. I'm glad we had some! We've been struggling with keeping it, all along the Utah Rockies.

Have followed your story for years! Wish we would have known you were skiing here, you were 26 minutes from us. We could have given you quite the tour.
