Happy Birthday, Christi!

Nine years ago this afternoon, we received this precious gift from Heaven above! While holding my best friend Becky's hand on one side and my husband Shayne's hand on the other, I couldn't wait to hear the baby's first scream. I knew that cry would assure me that it was healthy and everything was fine.....little did I know the journey this remarkable child would take us on. From the first moment I held her in my arms, I fell in love with the new little bundle knowing she was a precious gem to be forever treasured. Thank you, dear Lord, for blessing us with this special gift we call Christi!

Oh, it's going to be a FABULOUS day! After school, she and a few of her friends will be picked up for some afternoon pottery painting at Kaylyn's grandma's shop.....in a limo!! (Thanks, Bill!) Back to reality: first on the agenda is a trip to the hospital escorted by Daddy to get her blood drawn before school.
