Fourth of July

Last year on the 4th, I was so sad. This year was much better. Shayne took our little grill and I packed up items for s'mores and we watched the fireworks at the park in Pt. Clinton. Shayla really enjoyed it. Happy Holiday!

Our friend sent us this picture this year. In 2003, after we watched the NYC Fireworks Display with the Ronald McDonald House we drove out of town in the morning and met the Bowerman's at a campgrouond in Pennsylvania. We had a wonderful time. (PIC: July 5, 2003 - Christi on Angela's lap) Christi loved camping and being with all of the Bowermans. They are an amazing family!

Shayla laughed at seeing this picture. She's with our friend's sweet boy she ended up in 4th grade with. Shayne and Tim rented this silly bike cart and the kids (big and small) had a ball with it.
Christi with Kristen - one of S.E.'s AMAZING and LOVED jr. high students. She's a gem! I will miss her, and her sweet and wonderful contributions, so much.
