How cool to meet Miss America and get to wear her crown!!! When I was Christi's age my younger sister and I used to play Miss America and would take turns being Miss America and wearing the "beautiful" crowns that we had made.

I'm so glad Christi is feeling better!!! Thank you Lord!

Hi Beautiful Christi - I can't ever seem to get over that everlasting smile of yours. So glad you are going home soon. The artwork you created for the folks who stroll and pace in the CHOP lobby is precious.

Sleep well sweet girl,

Love,

Colleen Kashino

Christi looks like such a princess with the crown on. Glad to hear that Miss America and Christi were able to talk about Pointe and that she appeared on the Philly news this evening. I hope all is well and that Christi is able to make it to her valentines party with her class this week. My Prayers and thoughts are with you all!!!

Which one is Miss America??? Surely it is the one on the left because she is much prettier than the one of the right:) It is great to see Christi smiling. It truly shows she is a fighter, cancer you picked the wrong body. You go Thomas Team. Love and prayers, Renae

WHAT A BEAUTY!!! WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU SWEETY:) KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR A LADYBUG FLYING AROUND. THAT WILL BE ONE OF KATIA'S LITTLE FRIENDS FLYING BY TO SAY HELLO.

ALL OF YOU, YOUR WHOLE FAMILY, ARE COMPLETELY INSPIRATIONAL. I KNOW THAT BEGINS TO SOUND LIKE A CLICHE BUT REALLY, YOU ARE. THINGS ARE HORRIBLE FOR YOU RIGHT NOW AND YET EACH DAY, YOU MANAGE TO KEEP PUTTING ON FOOT IN FRONT OF THE NEXT MOVING FORWARD, NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING BUT MORE TIME WITH YOUR LITTLE GIRL!!

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES AND I BELIEVE CHRISTI HAS ALREADY BEEN A MIRACLE. I ALSO BELIEVE SHE HAS MORE MIRACLES TO COME. I PRAY THAT EVEN THOUGH THIS NEW PROTOCOL ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THAT MIRACLE THAT IT WILL BE. I PRAY CHRISTI CAN RUN FOR MS. AMERICA SOMEDAY AND SHOW OFF HER BALLET.

GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU:)

What a treat for Miss America to FINALLY meet Christi Thomas...Angela, you couldn't be more right! There are people in this world that God chooses to be reflections of Himself in a mighty way. There is no doubt in my heart that your family's journey has shown Christ and His love to all who come across your paths.

I'm praying for each of you. Remembers, He is walking this journey with you EVERY step of the way.

Much Love, Jessica from CA

Hi Shayne and Angela,
I'm so happy that Christi is feeling relief and enjoying life again. And I do hope you can make it home soon. But, I wanted you to know that we sent you some food via USPS the other day. It may be there on Tuesday or possibly Wednesday. So I apologise it will probably be too late to help. I'm not sure what the hospital would do with the package. It's food that would keep for awhile if you expect to be back. Or they could give it to another patient's family who could use it. I don't want you to have to worry about, I just would hate for it to get thrown away if someone else could use it. I can't keep up with you guys, even with daily blog postings! (smile)

Love,
Lora in AZ (and family)
