Fallen Hero - Nick Snow, Forever 16

In the world of neuroblastoma, long term relapsed/refractory fighters don't typically ever achieve remission for any length of time. I remember exactly where I was the day back in December of 2002, when I learned that after 84 months (7 years) of continuous treatments, Nick Snow beat neuroblastoma and actually stayed NED! And never will I forget exactly where I was the day, when I thought he was doing well, I learned he departed this life. A body can only take so much. Rest in peace, Nick, a pleasure to have met and forever a hero of the Thomas team for blazing a trail, giving us hope and teaching true lessons about life long the way.
