Enjoying Philadelphia
I won’t say “the shot” was screamless today (it wasn’t); however, as you can see once it was over we headed out to enjoy the day together. We pushed Christi about 20 blocks in her jogging stroller- all covered up with a beautiful, soft “cat” blanket sent here by a sweet church group. At the Liberty Street shops we purchased some of the (miracle in our minds) Body Butter from “The Body Shop” since we accidentally left it in her room and all other lotions seem to burn Christi’s skin. (One coating and her little dried out hands are much improved already! Whew!) After our mission was complete, we enjoyed the book store together and then walked to the Market Street Shopping to get her a new pair of tennis shoes. (Until we got out here I didn’t realize her shoes were too tight and hurting her feet.) She now has new shoes with “toe room”. It’s such a blessing to have the most wonderful husband and daddy here with us!

That's great that after "the shot" you guys got to go out and enjoy the day together. I bet you guys had tons of fun in the book store. I hope things continue to go well. I will keep your family in my prayers. I bet it's great having Shayne there for the time being.

Happy Sunday little one. Hope you get to enjoy the day. Prayers for you.
Glad to hear that after the shot you were able to enjoy the City.
Sounds like you had a most enjoyable day. Tennis Shoe (well any kind of shoe) shopping is always a good day in my book. :)
Praying hard for no fever.
Lots of love, tons of prayers,
Heather
Good morning Christi! Happy Sunday! We'll be heading out to Mass shortly...know you will be special in our intentions. When we were out at Penn State for THON I donated blood...I remember laying there also praying the entire time (prayed the rosary using my 10 fingers!) for whoever would receive the blood. So glad that daddy is able to be with you through tomorrow. Nothing like hugs from dad. I know my girls would be the same way. When they were little I used to work evenings, however when both went to school I started working days so that we could all be home together...welll Michele and Meghan were so upset that I would now be ruining their evening routine! : ) Thank you God for dad's who are so special in the eyes of their children. I hope mom was able to get a little rest in between with dad there. Have a wonderful day...filled with smiles all around you and the warmth of the sun shining down on you. love, sylvia
