A Fabulous Day!

"It's been so long since we just sat and laughed," said one of Christi's best friends to her at school today. The incredible Mrs. Smith had her fourth graders wear hats to school so that Christi wouldn't feel awkward about her bald head; it was precious and thoughtful!! Her teacher said that the kids were "all smiles" to finally see Christi with them at school after so long. I can't even explain my relief and joy! I checked on her a couple of times. Each time I walked past her classroom she looked happy and content! I'm filled with thanks and gratitude that we were all three at school today!

YEAH GOD!!!! Thank You for all three being back at school. Thank You God for special friends and teachers. Thank You God for the MIRACLE that we BELIEVE in! Amen.

Christi dear, Michele just donated her hair to Locks of Love last weekend at Penn State...I have to share your site with her...she will love to know that beautiful children like yourself indeed do benefit from those donations! She will be interested in seeing the process from your side. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. I'm hoping I get to meet you this coming week in Philly!

love, sylvia xoxoxo

Christi and family,

I have been following your story for about 2 months and I have to admit that you are one of the bravest people I've ever encountered. I came across "Christ's Clubhouse" when checking on a patient that I had taken care of at our local hospital. I kept wondering who this Christi was and so I've been following your story. You and your family are an inspiration and you are beautiful. Keep up the good work.

I'm so happy to hear all of you were at school today. Keeping Christi and the whole family in my daily prayers. May God bless your trip to CHOP; I am praying the chemo will do it's job with no bad side effects.

Hooray to be back at school, and what an adorible picture!!!

What a blessing Angela that you get to work in the same building as your girls!! My mother taught kindergarten in the same building I went to school at in 4th and 5th grade. Let me tell you, even though your girls may not express any opinion about it now, looking back myself, i wouldn't trade being in the same building with her for the world! It was definitly something special to know that mom was just down the hall! Not many kids get that opportunity to go to school with mom!! I'm sure your two beauties think the same thing, even though they may not say it to your face ;)!

God bless you all!
Forever in my thoughts and prayers, Allie

Mom and Dad Thomas,

I commend you on your wisdom to see that whether we live 10 years or 100 the important thing is how we use those years. I will never give up on keeping Eden here with us but in the mean time I make sure every day she is here is filled with love and laughter and she is always surrounded by friends and family. I think Christi is a very blessed little girl!

Always in our prayers and thoughts.
