Not feeling well

Christi spiked a fever last night around 12:30 so that set off a chain of events that led to more exams, more antibiotics, and now anti fungal agents. The concern is that if she had fever and then lost it then it came back that it could be fungal. Her counts have not deteriorated: her white count is .4 and her ANC is zero ( guess it can't go negative) her Hemaglobin was 8.9 which was a nice surprise because of no transfusion and her platlets remain marginally above transfusion level as well.

She does not want Aunt V to leave her sight so V stayed at the hospital with us last night. Aunt V and I slept head to toe on the couch and chair in the hospital room. The nurses kind of laughed and ordered us a cot for tonight.

Overall Christi is cranky and lethargic. Really she is just not feeling well at all. Her only food today has been a Reeses Peanut Butter Egg-thanks Amy.

The van is loaded and pointed west. We are just waiting on some good news to spring us from this joint!

Shayne
