$300 to Seneca East Public Library in Attica

$300 was recently donated to Seneca East Public Library for their Summer Reading ProgramThe money is for what they have named the "Christi Thomas Closing Night". It will be held on Thursday, July 31st (7-8PM) at the library in Attica. The evening's entertainment: Mr. Paul's "Catch the Reading Bug Magic Show"

Returning from last sumer, Mr. Paul Gerber of Northeast Ohio will entertain with his unique brnd of magic, jugglign and comedy. The performance is made possible by the Christi Thomas Memorial Fund. Wonderful refreshments will be provided. We hope you all can attend!
When Barb suggested this, I thought it was a great idea! We wanted to help the library, because of Christi's love of reading, and Christi loved to perform magic tricks for us so this was a perfect fit we thought.

She looks so serious for a girl who's reading a joke book :)

Closing night sounds exactly like Christi - what a cool idea!

How very fitting! The Summer Reading program and Christi Thomas closing night are yet another way in which Christi's remarkable spirit lives on. I wish I could go!

Hugs,
Olivia

The heat of summer always reminds me of you: riding crazy coasters at Cedar Point, getting Buckeye ready for the fair, your email to all of your bloggers so politely asking your cat owner survey questions, and then quickly adding that if we couldn't answer, that was okay, too. I loved reading about you, hiking, biking, eating cereal and reading, making up games with your sister, making up national holidays. Even in Philly you were doing your petition to have Pluto returned to full planet status and the Rocky statue moved back to its original place. Remember the German Shepherd movie? I miss you, Christi.
