H-O-M-E!

Aunt V welcomes us home.

Rich Traunero flies the "Angel Flight" back home!

"What are you still doing here?" jokes Dr. Maris.

I don't believe I've ever slept more soundly, and Christi is still snoozing as I type! The Grants not only picked all of us up, but stayed with us at the Executive Airport so the four children happily played until Rich arrived. Caroline was persistent, insistent and determined to get my credit card refunded for their flights they were no longer taking and much to my surprise and delight- after standing in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes, she did!

Rich is a Godsend! This amazing gentlemen, left work, went right to the airport and so lovingly gave us eight precious hours of his busy day to get us home! He packed snacks for us and we even got to do some sight-seeing. Caroline and I missed the official ground-breaking of our new k-12 school since we were gone. Well, Rich flew us by and tipped a wing down so that we could get a good look at the construction site. Then with his son playing a baseball game at the park last night, Rich circled around the ballfield to let Andrea, his wife, know we were back in town; I blinked away tears at what an awesome husband and father he must be. Shayla loved the first flight (that she remembers) in a "baby plane" and Christi got planesick four times, but thankfully is so neat and tidy about it all. We are incredibly grateful to be back home together as the Thomas team. Like Dr. Maris said, "I'll see you in a couple of weeks and I think we'll see better scans too." I pray that is the case!! Thank you sweet Angels on earth for making all of this happen and for our loving Father above overseeing and directing the mission!

Last night, after I went to bed, the girls went out to the garden to pick fresh strawberries with Aunt Vaunie. This morning she'll make them pancakes topped with strawberries. Tonight I'll attend my final OSU class for spring quarter and I'll have six days off before my summer class starts. Aunt Vaunie will take the girls to the theatre for one of their many dance recital practices on the big stage this week. THANK YOU, Aunt V! I'm so glad we were able to see you before you fly back to Arizona! I didn't think it was going to happen!

CHRISTI & ALEX's LEMONADE STAND: Friday, Old Fort Bank - Westgate Office (11-2 PM) This will benefit PEDIATRIC cancer research. (The American Cancer Society is a great organization I'm certain; however, less than 4% of their funding goes towards pediatrics and 0% of that goes toward neuroblastoma. The lemonade stand is the Thomas team's way to continue Alex Scott's mission of KIDS helping KIDS fighting cancer. Please join us if you can!)

What a delight to see that picture of the two girls with their Aunt V!!

I'm so glad that you made it home safely and are now in your own home and in your own beds. :)

Hope the girls enjoyed the pancakes this morning! Yum!!

I'm praying that the wonderful Dr. Maris is indeed right and that better scans will be seen in two weeks.

Have a good last class Angela.

Lots of love, tons of prayers!!

LOVE YOU!!
Heather
