Where is Shayla?
Shayla is most likely pushing her luck, but she would like to play "Where Am I?" again. Now that we know how very hard it is to determine the location from a photo, thanks to some sweet bloggers for giving us a taste of our own medicine, we will give some hints as to where we spent the weekend. (She also said that it wouldn't be fair for daddy's friends to participate. Sorry!)

Oh, Shayla. Umm, the words big lake got me thinking Salt Lake City, Utah (would really go that far for a weekend trip though?). So, I doubt that's it.
One of the great lakes? Lake Michigan maybe? Lake Ontario?
I've got my bet on Lake Ontario.

In the previous 'Where's Shayla?' posts, I didn't have a clue. But, this one I think may be easy. Is it Sleeping Bear Dunes in MI? If so, I'm not sure what gave it away. The reference to Shayne's Michigan Friends or the dune grass picture. If I'm right, I hope you'll come back here again. Despite the MI economy we have some great places to visit.

Angela, Thanks so much for the warning! Poor Grandma...I winced just looking at the photo of her leg. Hoping for a very smooth and pain-free as possible recovery. At least Shayla gets to have Grandma around and that surely will help Grandma's spirtits in her recovery.

I think you are on Lake Michigan. Have seen that sand before..........And Nee Nee's leg....WOW. Was wondering how the accident happened but afraid to ask. Will keep ALL of you in prayer as this is an adjustment for all.
