I have been following Christi's journey for over two years now. I have never commented before, but I wept when Christi's journey in heaven began and I have kept you in my hearts. Yesterday it hit me how difficult this time must be for you as my family and I were at Disneyland celebrating Mother's Day and a woman commented on my shirt (a shirt I got when I ran a half marathon in support of a family in our church who lost their little girl to a brain tumor on Christmas Eve). She asked what the shirt was about and I explained a little bit. The woman felt awkward and I mentioned to my husband how awkward it would be to be on the other end of that conversation, and then I thought of how many times you have had to address the loss of Christi and my heart hurt for you. How easy it is for me to share other's stories, but I could never imagine sharing my own story.
Christi's life and death have caused me to hug my own child closer (my son was born two months before Christi passed away).
Your family is in my prayers today. I know that I can offer no comforting words, but I just thought that today should be the day I could comment and let you know how deeply Christi, a brave warrior whom I never met, impacted my life.

Yesterday I tough when your mother will arrive in paradise you will be her teacher and she will be your student, you will teach her all the beautiful things you meet each day. But I know how it's hard to keep on living on this earth, for your mum, dad and sister, for me and many other peoples.
I'm so sorry because of my mistake last day. I'm confused. You was only 10 years and 363 days old.
