Beautiful Bloggers, Beautiful Lake Michigan

Dear Bloggers,

You are simply AMAZING!! Thank you so much for your wonderful responses, the vast majority right on the money! We were blessed to spend the weekend north of Muskegon, Michigan right on Lake Michigan (very, very near to the place where my family vacationed each year at Silver Lake).

The friendships, laughter, and food shared, simply amazing. The "little shack" of a beach house, not so shabby at all! (Shayla keeps telling people she stayed in a real mansion!) During the weekend, we kept joking with her, "Pull up your chin, Shayla, it's not polite to drool." She'd laugh and declare, "I know, but I just can't believe this place!" (And with over 8,000 square feet of gorgeous living space, and our very own "Thomas team apartment" downstairs, we couldn't believe it either!!) Watching fireworks from the Jacuzzi, wave runners waiting on the beach, scrumptious food, great people - WOW! We were spoiled terribly!

Our deepest thanks to our incredible hostess - Heather, and also to the beautiful Julie, Brian, Eric and their kind spouses for letting us all share in the reunion weekend. It was tremendous! We are so blessed! THANK YOU!

(I'll add pics as soon as "blogger" will allow me to do so.)

It looks beautiful! We just got back from a month at Silver Lake just about a week ago. It was so hard to return to the Texas heat and day to day life. Have you ever been back to Silver Lake since your father passed away? I imagine that would be difficult. My oldest daughter was almost killed in a SeaDoo accident on the lake two years ago and it was hard to come back the next year. Anyway, I think and pray about your family frequently.
