Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

I recently read these words and thought they made great sense:

Don't weep for yesterday, it is over. Smile from your heart, for God has given you a brand new year. Make the most of it!

Our family has a few exciting things in store for early this year, a fundraiser to help with the large amount of scholarships we will give Christi's high school classmates this year as they graduate and Shayla has asked instead of having a "15th birthday party" to secure a space and a DJ so she can host a "Lemon Ball" -  a great fundraiser for Alex's Lemonade Stand where her friends will don their old homecoming dresses and make a donation for pediatric cancer research instead of giving birthday presents.  I'm sure I'll update you later!

May God shower His abundant blessings upon you all year round.

Merry Christmas 2013!

May the peace and blessings of Christmas be yours this lovely day!  Rejoice and enjoy!  Merry Christmas from the Thomas team:  Shayne, Angela, Shayla and our "angel" Christi.

Yesterday I purchased "Proof of Heaven:  A Neurosurgeon's Neath-Death Experience and Journey into the Afterlife" written by Dr. Eben Alexander and I finished reading it within 24 hours.  Of course I'm a 'doubting Thomas' (hee hee) so I always question things, but it was a great message, renewing my hope.

Merry Christmas, sweet Bloggers!

Yes, we left a spot on the couch open for Christi in this year's Christmas card!

This will be our 8th Christmas without her, we only had nine with her.  Insane!  Please love and cherish your sweet family today and always!

May your Christmas be filled with Joy & Gratitude because of all that Christ has given you. We wish you a Blessed Christmas and all the best in 2014!

With love from the Thomas team: Shayne, Angela, Shayla and our "angel" Christi Thomas
